I have no idea what to make of this. F@h was idle on this machine for a couple of months. I installed a new GPU and restarted F@h and this started popping up. I uninstalled F@h, including the data , and installed the latest version of the client, and this keeps popping up. It does seem to settle down and fold after a couple of instances. Any suggestions? A Google search results talk about Windowsy things.

Seems like you are having some out of date Nvidia drivers or OpenCL library .

I second what Jb boin says, it sounds like a NVidia driver issue. I’d upgrade to the latest while using the ‘clean installation’ option which should reset any strange stuff in the driver.

Thank you. Performing a clean install now.

Doing that. Thank you. I had no clue.

It appears that did the trick.

Awesome!
I check that box every time I update an Nvidia or AMD driver. It is functionally similar to a uninstall and reinstall while taking much less time.

Glad you got it sorted. The nvopencl.dll thing was a pretty strong indication of driver/library issue. Looks like F@H was looking for function in openCL that wasn’t there (presumably because your version of the openCL was too old).
